TYPE IIR approved masks have a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of 98% of all bacteria according to the latest EU standards: EN 14683 that protects both yourself and others. There are many other models that can be seen on the market, e.g. Type I, which are sold at a cheaper price, has a much lower bacterial filtration efficiency and protects only the people around you but not yourself.

The mask has a 3-layer protection and is equipped with elastic bands for your ears on the sides. It is latex free, has good breathability and is comfortable to wear.
